he isnt even throwing a ball in that picture.

He's managed to get tootsie roll to produce giant football shaped rolls so that you can feed them to him with a Jugs machine

Can't argue that he got them there, but he sure blew it in the big game with those fumbles and the pick six he threw.

I would prefer Bruce Gradkowski as a backup than that bust of Jamarcus Russell.

Thinking about its not a bad idea getting Gradkowski (as a backup), he did great on the raiders, but he is a RFA so not coming here.

The last thing we need is another overpaid backup QB like Orvlosky. I think we have to let him play (well hopefully Schaub takes every snap) since we gave him 9 million dollars. I like Gradkowski though. Hes sort of mobile, has a decent arm and has a knack for making big plays dating back to his Buccaneers days.

Grossman may suck now and was extremely inconsistent even during the SB season, but he was an MVP candidate in the first half of that year. He had 7 games with a QB rating over 100 and another with a QB rating of 98, plus a couple more in the 80s. The team scored 20+ pts in 12 of their 16 games, 30+ 7 times, and 40+ 3 times with him at the helm.

He was a big part of them making the Superbowl, and his suckiness the next year was a big part of them sucking.

I'd give him a shot for a cheap contract.. why not?? We have great QB coaching.. and although Jamarcus is "big boned" (on a good day) he's still pretty quick out of the pocket.. some players benefit from a fresh start..

Coaching in the NFL is crucial for player success. ecspecially on the offensive side.. Darren Mcfadden should be a probowler, so should Justin Fargas, And Heyward Bey.. I can't think of many players who went to completely sh!tty teams and have success.. (rams, 49ers, raiders, browns) the lions are on the right track..

If a good team gives this guy a chance theres still time for him to develop.

Solid point, i do think jamarcus has a lot more upside, and terrible play calling that sets him up for failure.. in no way do i think this guy should start a game on any team.. but you never know what good coaching can do in this league, imagine if russell was drafted by the patriots or colts, as a development, obviously that wasn't possible.. but he'd be a totally different player
