    Good pickup for them ....

Also looks like the Magic have waived or come to an agreement with Patrick Ewing for him to be a free agent. Man, when the Magic, a team desperate for an inside presence, lets a center like Ewing go, you know he's got nothing left in the tank.

Damn Harpring white-boy got-no-problem-with-Salt-Lake-City-Utah, we're trying to get the Jazz out of the playoffs. ARGH! Oh well, just someone else to hate on the Spazz.

Hey, they need another white guy. Let's send them Collier and a resigned Langhi for a resigned Marshall!!

Ewing probably was bought out of his contract; it's been no secret that the Magic did not want him back next season, even if he wanted to give it one more shot.

He flat out has nothing left in the tank. He showed a couple of flashes over the season and can still draw a foul, but he's hardly good for anything more than 10 minutes a night of sucking up the oxygen out of an arena.

That said - he'll probably sign with the Lakers to ride their coattails to a title. He may sign with the Wizards if MJ returns, or with the Knicks if he wants to retire as a Knick - but even though he faces upcoming surgery and rehabilitation, he's going to play next year.

In any case, he should've retired two years ago.

As for Harpring - excellent pickup for the Jazz, though with Kirilenko...what do they need him for? I imagine they'll alternate the two between starting SF and backup PF for the time being. After Malone and Stockton retire, though, both should be productive starters. Just like the Pacers, they are rebuilding on the fly.

Ewing won't retire. He's like MJ they both love playing and living the NBA life more than their famalies and he'll play until he's kicked out.

As for Harpring gouing to the Jazz. Oh great another average player, the Jazz are right back in it:rolleyes: . Please, please Jerry sloan put Kerilenko and Harpring in the game at the same time v. EG and Nachbar, please do it so they can get lit up.

Man Harpring must have signed a lucrative contract...I can't believe he voluntarily joined the most despised team in the universe.

Actually he was offered more money by the Bulls.I found it interesting that the Jazz decided not to resign Donyell Marshall. He could be a good pickup for the Rockets if we decide not to go for Lewis, and could make KT expendable.
However I think getting Donyell will be hard as he probably won't agree to take the MCE.

Donyell Marshall will not get more than the MCE from any team, even the few with cap room, especially because the Jazz are not going to re-sign him now. In any case, the Rockets don't need him - he's a SF/PF, the exact spot where the Rockets don't need any other players; even signing him and dumping KT does nothing.

Yeah...Ewing and Jordan love the game, but Jordan still has some game left.
He's still an excellent shooting guard, it's just that we're used to seeing him on such a higher level.

    Ewing really has nothing left.

Ewing, Robinson, Dream, Richmond...shells of their former selves.

How do Malone and Stockton do it?
