Its bad enough we are going to hear about this every 20 minutes on Sportscenter, have a topic on it the rest of the week on PTI, Around the Horn, and Jim Rome Is Burning, and every other ESPN show, so I think we could do without a thread of its own.
Something seems suspect here. I didn't see where an injury to his elbow could actually occur although I did see him clutching his face after the fall like he had been hit there. I know he also said it's a recurring problem (that we are just now hearing about) and that there is no structural damage. It was also weird that he switched to a lefty free throw after draining the first one with his right hand with no limited motion or apparent pain. It was like he knew that once he iced the first one he needed to let us all know just how bad he was hurting. Maybe I'm a hater but I get the feeling that he is looking for a built-in excuse should Cleveland come up short in the next round or beyond.
^^ same here..... what i thought was funny was when Lebron walked back to the cavs bench and Mike Brown gave him a funny ass "wtf" look.....
Clearly he his practicing for his matchup with Paul Pierce. If it comes down to Game 7, both will need to be ready to fake a "career ending" injury from which to return 10 minutes later.
did he say last night he already got the MRI? it's like they can't figure it out. he said it goes numb like a funny bone. lets compare his injury to TMac now.
I would guess Lebron shot the next one lefty because he anticipated having to go the rest of the game shooting with his left hand. One freethrow being a warm up.
He probably just wanted to show everyone he could hit a left handed free throw to get on the top-plays and espn classics where they talk about how he made a free throw left handed to win the game to some dramatic orchestra music playing in the background.
or you could take the factual info for what it's worth. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AlI5atyC_XK70ymdgOvYtwi8vLYF?slug=ap-lebronselbow
He's trying to be like Jordan and shut up the opposing team completely. He's more of an actress than T-Mac
