I wanted to get this post in before Barry ties the record. ESPN has televised like the last 5 Giants games, Barry gets about 4 at bats per game, for a total of what 20 minutes? ESPN is televising 3.5 hours every night for 20 minutes?!? What a freakin waste...Giants suck. Couldn't they just cut in? But it's better than poker. Now back to the game.
Although I do look forward to Barry breaking the all time home run record, I would also love to see every pitcher walk him for the rest of the season just so he has to come back next season to break it. Hilarious I think

In typical soccer-hater fashion, I could take this opportunity to thread-crap and go on about how baseball sucks in general. But I won't. Instead of broadcasting the whole game couldn't they just interrupt the regular broadcast every time Bonds is at bat? Didn't they do that for another record breaking event the past few years?
You can't really crap on baseball because despite steroids and strikes, more Americans would rather watch Barry Bonds than the best soccer player on the planet...since I don't watch soccer I don't know who that is, safe to say it isn't Beckham.
Actually I don't think any sport sucks, but I thought I'd give soccer haters here a taste of their own medicine. Big surprise that the irony is lost on them. ...But I'll keep it going. What the majority of America likes isn't exactly a stellar recommendation. Otherwise I'd be listening to Fergie on the radio and eating McDonald's. Anyways, most of the world doesn't give a crap about baseball compared to soccer, and neither do I.
