yeah, some women....one time this girl from UH just sped around me and flipped me off. Awkward ****. I mean, she was staring at me and giving me the finger for 3 full seconds. Again, very awkward. I didn't do anything wrong, and I was going the speed limit.
Rubberneck-ers. I cannot understand for the life of me why people will slow down to see a wreck and mess up traffic when the accident was moved to the side to avoid slowdowns. A few weeks back I was on the highway midday (usually no traffic), and there was a huge slowdown. I thought it was an accident on the highway, but no. It was actually a minor fender-bender that had been moved OFF the highway and onto the feeder. People were still slowing down to get a look. Another time there was a jam because there was an accident on the OPPOSITE lanes of the highway. Have you never seen an accident before? Because your about to see one first hand if you keep tapping on the brakes like that.
I'm sticking with my original post, but don't you love the people who take it personally when you pass them? Like I knew them for 20 years and decided to sell their grandmother to the Yakuza as a sex slave. I got at least two of these suckers today, flipping out and giving me the finger when I passed them as they went, at the most, the speed limit.
I dont know why Asian drivers get such a bad rap. I don't think they are worse drivers compared to other racial groups. If they are bad, it's cuz they are fresh off the boat and can't read the street signs in English and they are probably used to driving on the other side of the road. Old people however, are a consistent danger on the road. They are guaranteed to be driving 5-10 miles below the limit and make turns and lane changes without looking.
Another one. When you're driving down the interstate with litte traffic, especially at night, you have the one idiot who rides beside/behind you no matter what speed you go.
Worst type of drivers: old folks Most annoying type of drivers: those truck drivers who think they're all bad***, so they have to press on gas which happens to be very loud.
hopefully my parents never regress to the point of not knowing how to properly drive, but, old people. nothing pisses me off more when an old person is veering into my lane, driving 10 miles under the speed limit, or both. they should not be allowed to drive (the one's that can't). it's more dangerous than drunk driving, texting, whatever. i have no problem honking my brains out at them, scaring the **** out of them, whatever. have no sympathy for them...they are putting all of our lives in danger. once you hit 70, you should have to take an extensive driving test every year or something if you want to be allowed to continue driving. so, old people. (oh, and asians :grin: )
Darn, now my Lexmark printer driver remark wont come off as cool. Ladder theory doesnt work too well on the roads, does it? I'll add the super snobby rich drivers in their pricey luxurious convertibles who feel they have dominion over the road. Who if you do anything in your cheap clunker that doesnt give them a proper clean path, they'll give you a patronizing snooty look. Because thats the extra benefit you can do in a convertible. Even on the roads classicism can exist
People in Atlanta.....all of them.... Anyone ever been to Atlanta?? .....Everyone thinks they own the road.....and every body drives a chrysler 300 with 22s.
People who get all pissy about this. I can understand getting annoyed if someone is going 50 on I-10 or 30 on Westheimer and you've got no way to pass them. But I drive the goddamned speed limit, because the extra 2 minutes I'll save getting to my destination and avoiding annoying anyone who wants to break the law isn't worth the risk of getting a $150+ ticket. And the people who camp in the right lane who don't plan on making a right turn. Seriously.
