I wish we could reverse the trade. Artest was a better fit with us and Ariza was a better fit with the Lakers. Artest led us in the playoffs and nearly helped us beat the Lakers without Yao.

I can't wait for his reality show. That will be some good entertainment.

Artest didn't get traded for Ariza.

What I meant was not reverse, but just to trade back.

With that crappy 5 year contract, I want nothing to do with him.

And Artest did not play that well from Games 4-7 you know - it was primarily Brooks, Scola, and to a lesser degree Shane (I remember him making some huge threes, but I could be wrong, and of course the Shane-Kobe duels). I would say right now the two are roughly equal, which means give Ariza's age that the advantage goes to us. Artest would probably have been worse than Ariza if he was going one on one as often Trevor tried.

I'd still prefer artest offensively, but this isn't about who got the better player. It is about who got the player that best fits the team. It's hard to judge.

The question here is whether Brooks would have flourished with Artest on the floor instead of Ariza. That's what would make the difference on whether the so-called "trade" was worth it.

Also, Martin's presence has made both Brooks and Ariza more effective. Would Martin's presence help Artest if he were on this team instead of Ariza? It's hard to say.

Naive, yes....innocent? No way. And yeah, rodman was nothing like him. rodman knew who he was and was conscious of what he was doing, even if was wrong. I think Ron flips a coin or something..

I...completely and totally disagree? Ariza fits better with THIS team.

(Don't confuse this team with the one taht started the season. Ariza is not a play-making 2 guard like he was forced to try to be. He's a complementary slasher. See his last month and a half stats. Artest is.....Artest)

Believe me, you do not want artest being the number one option. He's a four or fifth option at best

I didn't like Ron's shot selection, new contract or think he's capable of keeping focused over the long hall. As a number one option? No thanks.

Trevor's role and shot selection were out of wack at first but it looked better the second half of the season. And for the price we got him, his age, this was a much better deal.

Artest almost helped us to beat the lakers ??? R u kidding me ?? he was shooting less than 35% behind the arc and 37% from the field, Although he took us to the second round, but the only guy who kept us winning against lakers was AB

Luis Scola (24 points, 12 rebounds in game 6) would disagree.
