    this young team is unbelievable
they lack a strong inside defense
what about Bynum to the Thunder? he's young and strong
this would be a great trade that could lead them to build a dynasty for years
    what do u think?

Well its a what if, meaning it most likely won't happen. If it did happen the thunder would be contenders. Plus the youg thunder players would continue to get better.

I think the better question is, what about Dwight Howard to the Thunder? He would fit in perfectly. Their defense would be unbelievable.

    Serge Ibaka > Bynum.

    At least defensively.

You're assuming they'd give up almost nothing for Bynum...which is a bad assumption to make.

In addition to KD and Westbrook, Serge Ibaka's growth during the season was astounding. I don't think anyone even expected him to make the rotation and the plan was probably to give him a lot of time in D-League. But he has some serious athleticism, and skills too. During the series, everyone has seen his hops and some of his rebounding. But the guy can hit jumpers and has nifty back-to-the-basket turnaround moves. I see him as a bigger stronger version of Amare that plays better defense but doesn't have the offensive arsenal yet. The main problems he must overcome are fouling too much and catching the basketball better from passes. It's strange that he has a soft touch with his shot but lets passes through his hands too often.

He's a hidden gem to people that don't follow the Thunder (like Harden was before game 3). Going forward, he may end up being the 3rd most important player on their team. I like Jeff Green and I like Harden, but Ibaka has way more upside. He's only 20 and this is his first year playing basketball in America. In 3-4 years, I can only imagine what kind of physical specimen he will be and how his skills will further develop.

What if the Thunder had Yao and we had Durant?

I am very impressed with how their defensive intensity/discipline has carried so well into the playoffs. If they miraculously beat the Lakers - which from what I have seen, is all too possible - then I like their chances against Denver/Dallas/Spurs. I'll have to say that apart from maybe the Cavs, they are the best defensive team in the playoffs right now. I really like Ibaka as well... still raw, but immense potential.

For a Forum poster of high regard, this picture, which is a desecration of sacred christian priestly vestments, does not add anything positive to your status. :p

I think Bosh could end up there, but Bynum seems unlikely. He would definitely fill a gaping hole at the C position though.

How about Andrew Bogut? I think he would fit in better and is a higher possibility.

If OKC can draft a decent and fast / mobile center, they might just be the #1 seed in the West for a while.

Assuming they keep all their pieces from this year, of course.

    Westbrook
    Harden
    Durant
    Green
    FAST CENTER

    Team Scary.

Why in the world would the Lakers trade him to Oklahoma City?

To do that it would definitely cost them Russell Westbrook

The Thunder don't need a fast/mobile C, they need a legit big man so they can match up against good rebounding teams like the Lakers, Jazz, etc. They got killed on the offensive boards all season.

I think they will take Daniel Orton from Kentucky with one of their picks.

They still need a Center that can start now though.
