This is what the manual for the mainboard says...I guess it means it will take 4 simms or 2 dimms ..but my question is which is better ? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Versatile Main Memory Support Accepts up to 512MB RAM using four SIMMs of 8, 16, 32, 64, 128MB with support for FPM and EDO DRAM; and two DIMMs of 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256MB with support for EDO DRAM and lightning-fast SDRAM (66/100MHz).
Without getting too technical, just get the DIMMs or whatever's cheaper. I doubt it'll matter in the long run. BTW, that must be an old ass mobo, right?
