I thought this was a good story. Long-ish read, these are just some excerpts.

You shouldn't have to get a lawyer to get a video recording of yourself from the government. Glad this guy held fast. Hopefully there are some repercussions on the Popo side.

No, but a lack of due process. Imagine if you wasted months and over $3,500 and were not treated fairly.

I can't tell if you're trying to be funny or ironic... but this is actually an important story that could have ramifications on freedom of information across the country as it pertains to law enforcement (aka a big f***ing deal that affects everyone and their liberties). More important than, let's say... crop circles, and such.

Aliens backup their records of your abductions. None of that 90 day BS.

I almost went to jail for failure to id when I ran light on my bike. Not a motorcycle, just a regular with pedals. You have to follow to same rules but they asked how come I did not have my driver license, I was like bc i am a bike.

My brother and uncle are cops so as they said they were taking me in, I started dropping names. It is a little excessive.

As a bike do you grease your wheels in the morning?

I'm not surprised by this story at all. I never fully understood the anti-government sentiment until I moved to Seattle. The local governing bodies are full of bureaucratic asshat thugs. Mainly I've dealt with the Office of Planning and Development, but I've been amazed at their blatant lies and sleazy methods. One of my proudest moments is suing them and winning a victory at the Hearing Examiner's court (kind of binding arbitration by a judge usually without lawyers litigating).

I hope this guy keeps up the good work, and that other defense lawyers get their hands on police records.
