    This site's better: www.YaoMingMania.com . Although not much is going on with Yao right now, it looks like they post timely content, especially with the game against Team USA coming up next Thursday, 8/22.

    They may be able to meet with him this week or next when he comes to Oakland for the exhibition game against Team USA, or during the World Championships in Indy the following week. Maybe they can sign him then.

    But knowing the Chinese and how they are so paranoid about him getting 'distracted' (remember how they wouldn't let him attend the Draft because of 'training'?), they will probably make him wait until the Championships are over. They won't have that excuse in a couple of weeks...hopefully.
