I wouldn't want to the Rockets to trade Brooks just for Splitter but what I'm thinking is is there another way for the Rockets to have a chance at Splitter?

I've very pleased to see you also view Al Jefferson as a potential target.

Im very happy about the young guys including Llull.

 

I said it first about Jefferson. I think he would fit in very well with the Rockets.

I called it about Martin as well. Let's see if my luck keeps going.

I think if we can somehow acquire Amare Stoudemire... we'll be set to contend. I wouldn't mind getting Bosh, but what Amare has shown me over these last 40 or so games... he's almost dominant when he gets the ball in the right places. A Brooks/Stoudemire combo would be deadly, and then the threat of Yao at the C position would legitimize this team's weaknesses on the defensive and offensive end.

I think we have a solid bench now, especially if we can keep the young core after a potential trade...

 

Amare doesn't play hard every game. He doesn't rebound the ball that well either. A guy his size should be able to grab at least 10 a night. Sometimes he only grabs like 4 a night. He's very gifted on the offensive side but Houston has enough offense. They need a player that can play defense, block shots, and rebound. Amare struggles in very category I listed.

Good stuff Clutch, Al Jefferson has intrigued me quite a bit for some time now playing alongside Yao, so getting AJ would be a dam good move IMO.

 

I am suddenly very pumped to start reading trade rumors... still a liiiiitle too early though.

I think you were pretty much dead on Clutch. A lot better than anything Solomon could have spurned for sure.

While reading this, I got really excited about this long offseason and the outcome of next season

Reading Clutch's post makes me really really wonder why Solomon still has a job.

 

I invite jerome solomon to read this article in order to improve his knowledge of the rockets. A big trade for Al Jefferson? Who could be our future center since he is still young, I like it.
