Mysynergysports is an nba scouting site that catalogs each play and gives you stats and video of all the different situations. You can choose a player and then get the stats for him as the "ball handler on a pick and roll" or "defending the ball on the pick and roll", and then get accompanying video. It's an amazing service.

The last few years, it's been for NBA eyes only, but I tried it out a couple years ago when they were beta testing the site. I can't recommend it enough.

They're offering a subscription for $29.99 that will last from now until 9/30/10 (next season basically) and it gives you stats and video from every single play from the 2009-10 regular and postseason. Considering all the video that you get access to, and it comes with the playoffs, it's well worth the price.

Pretty neat. It amazes me how advanced statistical data is these days.

Yup, NBA Live also uses this with their DNA thing. NBA teams use this to scout players and teams. It's amazing how they keep all of that data.

I wonder how much more advance Morey's statistical team is compared to this site. I hope one day when Morey retires from basketball, he'll write a tell-all book.

The Rockets use Synergy, like most NBA teams.

I think what he meant was, How much does Morey track that is beyond what other teams have access to? I am pretty sure Morey has some proprietary statistical tools they don't share with other teams.
