If GS gets the first pick, I wouldn't be surprised if they trade it for the 3rd or 4th pick. GS doesn't need another PG (Curry) nor SG (Ellis), so that rules out Wall and Turner. If GS gets Cousins, they would be very, VERY good, talent wise.
The worst New Jersey could pick is 4th and IF the Rockets move up in the draft, it would be a top 3 selection, not a 7th pick.
I'm going to go out on a limb and list who I think will most likely get the #1 pick this season. 1. New Jersey (25%) 2. Minnesota (19.9%) 3. Sacramento (5.6%) 4. Golden State (10.4%) 5. Washington (10.3%) 6. Philadelphia (5.3%) 7. Detroit (5.3%) 8. LA Clippers (2.3%) 9. Utah (2.2%) 10. Indiana (1.1%) 11. New Orleans (0.8%) 12. Memphis (0.7%) 13. Toronto (0.6%) 14. Houston (0.5%) Rumor has it that Morey also seem to subscribe to these odds.
If you have a chance to draft a player like Wall you draft him. IF they do land the # 1 pick, they should try to trade Eliis for a big man. Then you put Wall at the one and Curry at his real position and you have yourself a back court for the next 10 years.

I had a dream last night that we had moved into the top 3, but then I woke up. So I will call it, we will get a top 3 pick.
My guess is that the #1 pick goes to either Philly or Washington. Karma will help out either of these franchises who both need it, plus Wall goes to the EAST. However, I think the best situation for us (outside landing the #1), would be for Minnesota to pick up the #1 pick so they can finally do there weird TWO PG's back-court they wanted to do and deal us Rubio!
if the draft is fixed, this outcome would most benefit the nba: 1. WAS - wall will resurrect the nba's image in a densely populated region. 2. NJN - the nba needs to have a great product to present in a major market like brooklyn. the nets have a bright future as is so they are not in need of the top pick. 3. SAC - the maloofs have always wanted to move the team to vegas. the nba can't afford to have a great fan base snubbed by another franchise (seattle). pairing evans with a guy like cousins would make them successful enough to want to stay. 4. MIN - small market gets snubbed out of the top 3 to make room for washington. plus they still have rubio to bring in.
What time will the lottery drawing be on Tuesday? Is it at halftime of the Celtics-Magic game? If it is not during halftime, what channel will it be on? Oops. Nevermind. Here it is at 7 pm. Tuesday on ESPN just before the Celtics-Magic game.
1. No one wants Ellis and his contract. 2. Curry is a PG, not a SG. 3. Golden State are going to be horibble untill Don Nelsons contract is up.
