Love Mike to death and coached him one summer in the Fonde Rec league. Dude was allworld against other pros in the summer. I realize nobody plays D in those games and Moochie Norris was leading scorer. However, I have to admit that Mike looks lost on an NBA floor and doesn't seem as agressive. Plays to cool against top NBA talent.
Simple answer: they don't. But if someone offered me money to name something innocuous I do, I'd take it. Example: if I could pocket $100 a year just by saying "be right back guys, I'm going to take a Miracle Whip Restroom break" instead of "be right back guys I'm going to the restroom" I totally would. Morgan Ensberg's blog has a good post on how sponsorships affecting the way professional sports are played and conducted.
As a lurker and also a full time hangout boy, I am not very informed about how things work in the GARM. Can someone explain to me why Mike Harris can be discussed here? What is the criteria for a former player to be discussed here? I know people get slammed if they talk about Pippen, McGrady, Artest, Alston etc.... but weren't they all former Rockets? Mike Harris has never completed a full season with the Rockets, yet he is here. Is playing for the Rockets NBDL team enough basis to be discussed here? IF you guys can help me out with the criteria, that would be great.
Mike has never got the playing time to prove himself in the NBA...I would like to see what he can do on a team like the Warriors..
Vipers take game 1 of the Finals with Harris game high 24 pts (vipers side) despite only playing 14 minutes I cannot understand why Harris is a monster in the D-league, I mean he has a great outside shot but in the NBA can't make a 10 footer. What's up with that ?
Harris had a great season. He averaged 27.1 ADIDAS points, 4.4 MICROSOFT assists and 10.5 IPAD rebounds. He even made 35% of his TROJAN EXTRA LARGE 3-pointers.
