He's better than David Andersen, which is an understatement. ;)

Anyone noticing a trend with our coaches? JVG brought in Knicks. Adelman brings in Kings.

I liked Miller years ago. Now, not so much. If he's cheap, I'm in as a back up to Yao, which we will inevitably need when he goes down again.

If Adelman is gonna go after former Kings, at least make a run at Doug Christie. Lord knows this team needs another all-D, no-O small forward running around.

He's going to give up the ship defensively. Not to mention he cant punish gasol. Miller wouldve been cool 3 yrs ago, but the rockets are in another spot now.I like miller and have always respected his game. If you pair him with a trio of jefferson and yao, i can see it like boozer, okur type of deal. The problem is the rockets need a guy who can hold it down cause yao will be limited in minutes and games. Much like the brent barry signing, i asked if tracy misses games, can he fill big minutes? The answer was no and the answer with miller will be no also.

How in the world are we going to get Jefferson? People keep bringing him up for whatever reason like he is some cheap veteran. If he became available, there would be a bidding war. They wanted freaking Granger for him.

This. One the other hand Chris Bosh may be available. He's more mobile and can shoot the three's to spread the floor. When Yao is not there Bosh can play center too. He has developed a decent post game through these years. I think he's a better fit. Worst case scenario we can pick one up in the draft which is loaded in bigs.

Lars, they are actively trying to trade jefferson for some reason. They want a wing player in return especially a scoring one. So how do that fit the rockets? Well, the rockets do have picks and players to get the job done.

I highly doubt they trade martin even though he fits the bill and the salaries match. So now you have chase, trevor, shane, jeffries, andersen, hill, taylor and picks to work with. Now if they're trying to get players to match salaries, picks, and upside players, you night consider the pick this year, shane, chase, and andersen for jefferson. A move like that would spell the end for scola and i really like chase progress, but jefferson is an all star level player and fills 2 needs. Not to mention, you can get a guy like outlaw for mle money if need be.

Add Jeffries and we could get Bosh instead. Battier or Ariza + Jeffries + Hill + Budinger + New York's 2011 pick for Bosh. Then sign a guy like Outlaw for the MLE. Pick up Hayes option and sign a guy like Miller for cheap.

    Brooks/Lowry
    Martin/Taylor
    Ariza or Battier/Oulaw
    Bosh/Scola
    Yao/Miller/Hayes

I dont think that offer gets it done when the entire league can bid.

I like your thinking although I think that we would be better suited to see if Camby would sign for the MLE... I would prefer him to Hayes and Miller... However that may be too much to pay for the 4 and 5 positions...

Also, the more I think about this the more I wonder whether Scola get enough PT if we added Bosh? and would he want to stay?

    Brooks/Lowry
    Martin/Taylor
    Ariza/???
    Bosh/Scola
    Yao/Camby

If miller is cheap like for LLE, but i doubt that. I think think bring in Bosh would be the ideal way to solve the problem. just slid bosh to center and play with Scola on the floor, while Yao on the bench. That would be a fast running team.

Bosh can't play the center position, It would mean playing two Power Forwards!

I thought if we get Bosh we would have to trade a higher paid Scola and Battier for him?

Anyway I feel positive that Getting Bosh is just a smoke screen,
    Morey has another plan! :p

I want to know what is Bosh and Scola's clutch factors...i bet Scola win!! Dude is money when it comes to BIG games...i don't know about Bosh. Last time i seen him play against the Kings, he suck bad. I guess if there is one thing he does better than Scola is his length and ability to block shots and rebound better...basically match up better with the like of Duncan and Gasol.
