It doesn't bother me. People always talk about Yao needing an enforcer when he should be the enforcer.

You don't need to toss a bow like that and then run scared like a little chump.

He actually was pushed out the crowd. I'm not saying it was a defining moment, but i wish it was more physicality and stuff like that in the nba. I hate all this hugging, kissing, and friendly bs in the league

That was not physicality that was a punk ass move by a faux tough guy who is deep down a coward.

I watched it over again and it was just reactionary. He's trying to get to pierce, richardson comes and starts jawing, he turns his backs, people are on him, he throws the bow.

    Horse **** !

It is not reactionary to toss a bow into a guys face, he knew exactly what he was doing and did it on purpose.

Please don't make apologies for a Punk b**** move like that.

It would be like the next guy undercutting him on purpose and flipping him on his ear........

Queen Kevin says he aint apologizing either.....

Garnett's not apologizing for his elbow
    POSTED: April 19, 2010

Kevin Garnett doesn't regret his role in a fracas by his opponent's bench. Neither does the player he elbowed in the face.

Garnett paid a bigger price when the NBA suspended him for tomorrow night's second game of Boston's playoff series with Miami. The Heat's Quentin Richardson was fined $25,000.

The pushing and woofing took place with 40 seconds left in the Celtics' 85-76 Game 1 home win Saturday night. Paul Pierce had fallen by the Heat's bench, holding his right shoulder in apparent pain. Garnett leaned over, then held off Richardson, coming from behind, with his left forearm. Moments later, Garnett elbowed Richardson in the face.

"Not at all," Garnett said calmly when asked yesterday if he regretted his actions. "I would hope if I was hurt or if I was down in that position someone would at least give me some space to sort of recover or to gather myself. That's the only thing I was asking for."

Richardson, one of Miami's more emotional players, also shrugged off the idea of regrets.

"Me?" he said. "I didn't do anything regretful. I didn't throw any punches or swing on anybody."

"You've got to understand, both teams are playing for a championship," Pierce said. "There's so much more at stake. It's just like a prize fighter. When you fight for that goal, it's not like the other fights. This has much more meaning."

Also offering an opinion was Chicago center Joakim Noah.

"I'm going to say it: He's a dirty player," Noah said of Garnett. "He's always swinging elbows, man. I'm hurting right now because of an elbow he threw. It's unbelievable. He's a dirty player. It's one thing to be competitive and compete and all that. But don't be a dirty player, man."

"Noah?" Celtics coach Doc Rivers said. "Noah's in this series now? Well, I have no comment. If Noah had said that last year [when the Bulls played the Celtics in the playoffs] I would have had a comment, but since he's in Cleveland and dealing with that, I think I'm just going to let him focus on that group right now."

Stop apologizing for that coward, he tossed a bow, on purpose, there was no need to do that, no one was threatening him....

Come on....that stuff has no business in that situation.

I am all for creating space etc, but that was not basketball related, it was thug related.

DD with language, that means he really means it ;)

But yes, clearly a punk move. Who reacts to someone approaching him with an elbow to the face. If this guy was any bigger than Q, KG would not have done ****, he only taunts/hits guys much smaller than him, Those trying to make excuses for KG are pathetic. This is just one act in a long series of douchy transgressions

Fixed. I still think KG running away and standing behind a ref after throwing the elbow was absolutely hilarious. And no, he wasn't pushed out of the scrum, he ran.

Leebigz is being a troll. Garnett was "pushed out" by the crowd?! He ran like the little biatch that he is. His past incidents affirm this pattern. Throw a 'bow, OK, but act like a man and face your opponent instead of running away after a quick cheap shot.

If you looked at the video and could not see that he was also pushed out of the crowd then I don't know what to say.

I think the point where ALL of us can agree upon is that Garnett wasn't putting up a fight to get out of that scrum with the quickness. Some of us thinks that it's him getting a hit and and running away like a b**** and some of us thinks that he got pulled out of the crowd without any resistance because he knew he just f***ed up. Either way, it's still a punk move, though this isn't anywhere near a p***y move like the time he pushed McDyess and proceeded to throw the ball all the while backpeddling away.
