I like my job, but I would like it more if I didn't have to go every day. The wife and I are both Graphic Artists and we both enjoy what we do. I get to dabble in Photography (which was my first love), print layout and design, web design, and best of all I get to work on top of the line Macs that the company pays for. If you are not happy with your job, try and find another one. Being unhappy 8-10 hours a day is not a good way to live.
I'm indifferent about mine...it has good aspects but it's a job with absolutely zero room for growth.. Which is ok for the most part, seeing as I will get my CIS degree in the next 6 months..and then I will be a Network Admin looking for a network that needs administering.. Anybody know of one? Right now I'm a chemical sampler/lab tech. Which means that I sit out in a terminal staging area and sample trucks and railcars and then run tests on the product. Sometimes it gets slow, and thats when you will notice I'm logged on here all day!
I'm not gonna say. If you follow my previous posts, you might be able to figure out where I work, Sherlock-style. Maybe later I'll formulate a cryptic Doc Rocket post on the subject. Comic Book Guy (sorry, I'm a Republican and therefore not receptive to quick change ) - I have loads of downtime right now (it's my offseason), and I think it downright sucks. The day goes by much more slowly with nothing to do. There's only so many websites I can visit (and so much tinkering I can do with my fantasy baseball team) before I get really bored and pine for home...
VS: that is hands down the best sig i've ever read on any message board. i LOVE newsradio... i wish A&E would air reruns in the late afternoons again.
I wish that WB39 would still play reruns of NewsRadio instead of Caroline in the City or some of the other garbage they play... A&E still plays them and NightCourt!
