    Purpose of this thread is to get to know some music from other countries that one would not normally hear (American music is very popular in Europe as well, but much less so vice versa).

    Can be old or new and any genre/language.

    Some of them might sound strange to our American friends, but perhaps some could also be interesting. It would be great to get some comments from you if you like some of the songs - happy to translate lyrics, etc.

    I'll start. I'll spare you Rammstein or Kraftwerk or Nena or Scorpions as they are a little more known in the US already.
