Im talking a one maybe two year aquisition. If u want long term, draft a big. Simple as that. Hes also averaged over70 games played the last four seasons as i said in my earlier post. Not saying thats a big revelation, but considering hes gonna be playing bordeline starter minutes at a highly productive rate it think its a worthwhile move. Age has little to do with my suggestion.

I combined "who do you want" & "who's could be had" into a list of 7.

    Chris Bosh
    Marcus Camby
    Marc Gasol
    Brad Miller
    Amare
    Thabeet
    Big Z

My choice would be Brad Miller & draft a 5/4 combo.

Either Amar'e or Noah would be ideal, even though both have different skill sets, they possess one thing in common:

Both could start at the 4 and back up the 5.

The ideal 4/5 to place next to Yao in my opinion would be Al Horford who isn't listed and the rockets won't have any shot at aquiring the guy. Outside of Horford I would take either Bosh or Stoudamire even though I don't think they are the greatest of fits for this team. Camby would be fantastic.

I think we all basically want the Lakers build, where you have everyone playing multiple positions.

And in this case, a Pau Gasol switching between PF and C.
Bynum gets injured, Gasol rotates to C, Odom comes in as PF and team is just as good.

    Damn. What a luxury.
