It should get warmer as the week goes on but not much higher than the mid-80s. There was a 'Past Champions Clinic' today which started at 4:00. A number of youth golfers and inner city kids were there. Tiger and Vijay were no-shows. Vijay was on the course, no telling where Tiger was. I am quite sure that a number of those kids must have been disappointed. Tom Lehman was tremendously gracious. He signed dozens and dozens of autographs during his round. No complaints. He's a local icon and a sentimental favorite. Duffy Waldorf was very accomodating. I won't be going on Wednesday, but I'll give my mother-in-law the camera. We'll see how that works out. If the wind kicks up, the 16th hole will probably decide the tournament. It's a tricky shot over the water. There are a number of Cadillac Escalades strategically parked throughout the course. They are emergency evacuation vehicles for the golfers should there be any terrorist activity. Security has been extremely light, however. They gave a cursory look at my camera bag, but I could have snuck anything that would have fit inside. I still have 27 beers to go before I would rather have had the $145.00 shirt.
I have a sneaking suspicion you'll be wearing one of those shirts by the end of the tournament. Another great set of photos -- that Parnevik is one snappy dresser!
i think keeping these in one thread would have been a better idea... besides, how else are you going to show off your award, bobrek?
