We give the Raptors Ariza+Budinger+Hill+2012 draft pick and call it good for Bosh. Thats a fairly lucrative deal for the raptors IMO. Then take a wing with the 14th pick, or trade for one and we would be looking good.

    Yao/Camby (MLE)
    Bosh/Scola
    Battier/
    Martin/Taylor
    Brooks/Lowry

What he said was no one is untouchable in the league. If Cleveland were to offer Lebron James in a S&T for Scola and Lowry, they would be gone without a handshake.

Have you all forgotten that Yao has a very good jumpshot?

Too much for Bosh. Also if you get Bosh you have to part ways with Scola. He'll be worth mid level or more due to his contract, and paying him 5 mill to play 10 mins a game behind Bosh won't cut it. Scola+Bud or Ariza+Hill or the 2012 pick is as high as I will go. Bosh hasn't exactly torn the league up. Sure when he's good he's pretty good but Bosh seems to have knee problems of his own. Let's not bet the farm on yet another injured prone player m'kay? Again if we're pursuing sign-and-trades Bosh should come after LBJ and Cp3.

Scola will get more minutes than that. They'll play Bosh as backup C for some of his minutes, and Scola will play PF. Besides, none of us, nor anybody on the Rockets, I dare say, think Yao will make it through the season without missing a good number of games. If we get Bosh, Hill will be traded.

First, LBJ isn't an option. lol

Second, NO isn't trading Paul. They've never hinted at it.

Third, if you want the Raptors to agree to participate in a sign-and-trade, you have to give up more than just Scola and Budinger. The Suns commanded more for Amare at the deadline.

One thing for sure, whatever Yao's decision is, its his decision. Unlike other player/agent relations, team Yao is just helping him. Yao is such a smart guy and so determined on what he wants to accomplish that noone can control his life.

Just look how he quickly renewed his contract with Rox, how he bought his former Chinese team which fell so hard on both financially and performance-wise after Yao left, how he signed with Reebok for a lot less money after he found out that Nike cheated him. I will not be surprised if he takes a pay cut to allow Rox to sign another important player.

Do you really think Ariza+Budinger+Hill+2012 draft pick is too much for Bosh??? I think you may be overrating Ariza just a little. In all reality I think we need to include Jeffries to make it work but still a heck of a deal IMO.

Do you honestly think we can get LBJ or CP3???

I think Bosh is our best bet and we wouldn't have to give up the farm to get him. If he's available at the price of Ariza, Jeffries, Hill and the 2012 pick from NY I don't think there's any way we don't agree to that trade.

I wouldn't give all that for Bosh. Im pretty sure Battier or Scola would be part of that deal, but I would be surprised if they moved Ariza.
