It'll screw with you in a big way, in the very least it'll irritate the joint and induce tons of swelling and you would never "feel right" when attempting to go all out.

    He's doing the right thing.

wow.. would this be considered more severe than an acl tear? I've heard of people tearing both acl and meniscus.. hopefully Roy can make a full recovery

I live in Phoenix now...I have the Suns going pretty far this year, especially if the first round is an easy pass.

Blazers' Roy has surgery, out 1-2 weeks

    Posted Apr 16 2010 4:45PM

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and will miss one to two weeks.

Roy has already been ruled out of Portland's first-round series against the Phoenix Suns, which starts on Sunday. The team is leaving open the possibility of his return should the Blazers advance.

The three-time All-Star leads Portland with an average of 21.5 points per game. He injured his knee last weekend in the first half of a game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Roy will not travel with the team for the first two playoff games in Phoenix

Roy is out for about 2 weeks. ACL tears take 6-9 months till you're back playing basketball. I have a torn ACL right now, it SUCKS!

Sucks for Portland and Roy. They've been through enough injuries.

if blazers advance to 2nd round, roy could play as his injury status says he is out 1-2 weeks and out for 1st round of playoffs, it left open the possibility of a return in the playoofss if blazers can advance
