Brad Miller a passing big men should help hill and ariza next year at cutting to the basket so im ok picking him up, but if we can some how pick up camby aswell we would have enough size and talent to compete for the championship in the finals.

Relax ... the playoffs haven't even started

First, remember DM's trade and draft moves always take us by surprise, meaning, not reported in the media (reference AB, CL, DA, KM).

Second, Adelman's system takes time to learn. If they are interested in BM, it's only so that we can start the next season at a high level right away.

I say DM will get the defensive big and serviceable center to give Yao time to get into form this offseason.

We'd be better with this line up nex season, but we haven't made the playoffs with a roster like that before.

For all that says Miller is old, do watch some bulls games. They are on the TV for the playoffs.

If its cheap? Why not? He is still better than Cook, Andersen, Armstrong, Dorsey and whoever Rox have had as a backup center. He might not be a shot blocking pressence, but at least his a legit 7 footer. His man defense is still serviceable and Mutombo is 40. :p

I remember one game against Chicago, Noah was out and he just ate us up like it was spinach. So long as he remains healthy, he'll be a good addition.

    I like it.

Cheap guy, knows the system, legit 7 footer.

    Great in a backup role.

Agreed! DM will still draft an athletic big. Miller will then be the coach-on-the-floor for the 4/5's in Adelman's system. He'll also be the fill in for the 1 to 3 years it will take the new bigs(including Hill) to fully pick up the system.

For the LLE yes. I hope DM won't overpay for him. 3.5 M or more is too much.

Donatas is a good offensive player, but is he going to be able to help us defensively? His athleticism is average as well.

If we add Miller, we'll have to address the logjam:

    Yao
    Miller
    Scola
    Hill
    Jeffries
    Hayes
    Andersen
    Armstrong

I bet D Money converts our logjam into an elite power forward (Bosh) or PG (Wall)-- or both!

David Andersen isn't even close to the type of player Brad Miller is.

Do it Daryl. Frontcourt depth is ALLLLL WE NEED.

Armstrong's gone, Andersen is expenable. I think you keep Jeffries and Hayes as defensive specialists. Scola and Hill will platoon the 4 unless you trade for Bosh. And Yao/Miller/Drafted big or two will man the 5 or 4/5 if we draft a C/PF.

DM will try to address that through a trade. Drafting a ''big'' won't be good enough. Brad will be a backup plan, nothing more than that.
