the development of brooks in the season, and scola being in "beast mode" a lot of games, especially when he scored 44 points. also budinger played nice.
my list is personal moments this season first home game vs. the Lakers with Artest/Ariza 3s, that was probably the best lost I've ever attended based on those 3s alone taking a 3 hour lunch on MLK game to see the Bucks/Rockets, and making it back on time, barely after OT doing the high 5 club with fellow season ticket members, then being upgraded to sit behind the Kings bench and see Landry's Kings jersey up close in personal.... watching the Celtics game with fellow members at Dave and Busters, cheering and representing while others looked on wondering why the hell we were so happy moestavern19 and I cheering our lungs off when Budinger hit the alleyhoop vs. the Jazz, while wearing our Chase jerseys last game of the season in the suite, nothing can explain that night
The favorite moment has to be the entire season where we came in with a bunch of young guys and not a lot of expectations, and to win as much as we did. Quite impressive. I seriously can't wait until next season with our current roster + a certain big guy anchoring the paint. Ah yes, the **** just got real... 50+ wins next season... Book it.
In No Particular Order.... The win at Boston: That win exemplified everything that this team stood for this season. Hitting refresh every 10 seconds the day before the trade deadline and seeing that Daryl the Great had done it again: I don't know what Ariza's stats and shooting percentages were after the arrival of Kevin Martin, but it's amazing we got what we did for Tracy. The Ariza throw down versus Utah Chuck Hayes and Luis Scola: We finished the season above .500 with a 6-6 center and unathletic yet crafty power forward who both started and played 82 games. Both of those guys were invaluable to the Rockets this season.
beating great teams: especially against LA;Denver and Boston Trading T Mac and getting Kevin Martin and Jordan Hill and shutting Charles Barkley
My favorite moments are as follows: 1) New Years Eve win at home against Dallas 2) Wins at Boston, Los Angeles, Utah, Dallas & San Antonio 3) The last second win vs Denver at home 4) Lowry's over the back pass to Ariza in San Antonio 5) The shooting in Milwaukee 6) The win at MSG against the Knicks
[not in any certain order] Jermaine Taylor crossing over Delonte West for that sweet dunk! Scola's 'beast mode' game against the Nets AB's game winner against the Nuggets T-Wolves triple OT game (even though that was completely ridiculous) Chuckwagon continuing to roll AB hitting all 7 of his 3 pointers in that Grizzlies game on St. Patty's day Beating Boston in Boston with more than half our roster injured Stomping Utah, the last game Martin putting up 39 against the Kings in Sac-Town (16 for 16 FT) Finally getting McGrady off the team Finally getting rid of Cook
