im going to go to see it tomorrow. has anyone seen it? thoughts? the title of this movie is bad...hopefully the movie is good.
Haven't seen it... I don't expect much either. I think they said something about it being a new kind of James Bond series. What would the next one ber? XXX 2? Doesn't seem right. BTW, anybody besides me think this thread was going to be locked before clicking on it?
I was bored. I wanted to be where there's free air conditioning. I...I SAW IT!! Leave your brain at the door for this one, that's my second best advice. Do you have an attention span? Leave that behind, too. My "bestest" advice: wait til video/DVD. And then rent it. Treat it like a "Mystery Science Theater" thing. That's what my roommates and I did with "Pearl Harbor" (one roommate rented it w/o my knowing, and I just shook my head). But we laughed all the way through it. THAT is a poor excuse for a movie.
Exactly. I was a freakin' extra in that movie when it filmed here in July of 2000. I definetely had much higher expectations. The movie was really bad.
Go see Blood Work instead, it's much better. There were some cool stunts in XXX though and that GTO kicks ass.
Damn....and I thought this was going to be a porno thread... Hey, it made $44 million this past weekend and was #1 at the box office...that means it HAS to be good, right?
XXX was a rad movie...loved the stunts and the adrenaline...of course it's a bit unrealistic in places...such as out running a huge ass avalanche...but it was a good movie overall.
A good friend of mine saw it this past weekend and loved it, so I'm prolly gonna check it out sometime this week. RM95--i'm assuming you probably hated FATF, right?
I saw it first day it came out. It was an OK movie. The beginning was great. I thought the whole movies was going to be tests. All I can say is that Vin Diesil may take the Samual Jackson's regin of "Baddest Mother Fuc*a". I did think some parts were funny when they werent suppose to be, but think of this, if Bond did the same thing, would be laughing?
The stunts were bad azz. The freaking motorcycle jump between the barbwire was to sweet. Maybe im biased becuase I'm a Vin Disel fan, but i thought the movie was excellent.
i thought it was pretty cool havin all those pro skaters in it...like matt hoffman, tony hawk, mikey v, and the rest of them. rad movie with some crazy stunts.
I saw it because my son wanted to see it. It wasn't bad. It was one of those movies where I liked it okay while I was watching it, but it didn't stay with me. And I don't care whether I ever see it again. Dario's kid was good in it. I was about the same on the Fast and the Furious, though I think FATF was a better overall movie than XXX.
While I don't think the movie was bad, I'll have to agree with a quote I read a few days ago. The stunts were cool and Vin Diesel is a badass, even if some of his lines were really corny. The bridge jump was awesome. "Never has a movie this bad signified the arrival of an actor as a true superstar."
Although I hate to agree w/ someone who's name is Trade Cuttino I will right here. The stunts were awesome. The motorcycle jumps and the avalanche were pretty cool. Defenitly leave your brain at the door and you'll gety through the movie fine. Hell you might even enjoy it like I did. PS: Dave 2000, No one and I mean NO ONE will be able to replace Samuel L. Jackson as the baddest MF'er alive. At any time when they were on screen together SLJ could have slapped the s**t outta Diesil and he wouldn't have been able to do a damn thing about it .
maybe I was a little too harsh, after all there was one pretty good thing about it... (look at those legs) <img src="http://www.maximonline.com/girls/asia_argento/gm_l5.jpg"> http://www.maximonline.com/girls_of_maxim/girl_936.html
