Present Rockets with Yao Ming is not as good Present New Orleans with Chris Paul. So unless Morey makes serious adjustments I can't see our Rockets as contenders next season.
    Hopefully he will!!:p

Appropiate season ending. 123 points with 63.8 FG%. The tasks for this summer are clear.

Man, I can't believe it's over this season. I remember on Calvin Murphy's show back in October he stated it be a miracle if the Rockets would win at least 40 games. Well Calvin, we got 42!!

At least the Rockets have a bright future and I'm looking forward for this October, but the Astros are just going to make my summer sour. :(

    Can't wait till October!!!

Ariza played great in the last month of this season. He was nearing triple double numbers the last few games and he finally got it. He really needs to work on his dribbling and shooting (free throws  ) and luckily those are things he can actually improve with practice.

It will a long wait till October. So key up coming events beside the playoffs. Lottery Ping Pong Ball night, Draft night, and July 1st.

Teams I do not want to see win the Chip: Jazz, Spurs, Mavs, Lakers, Celtics, Blazers.

Another good season...wish it was longer, but all things considered, it was a good one.

Look forward to greatness next year and fewer (much fewer) injuries!

wonder when all the "what about getting David West" threads are gonna start popping up regardless of his contract situation. He killed me in fantasy. Thanks Rockets! ugh. Looks like if Yao doesn't come back 100%.. we might be the new Golden State

Missed this game, but I'm not too down I missed it, bad loss. However, I am looking foward to next season.

I really think we need to improve our defense next year, that was my main concern with Adelman, that after a few years, our defense would fall off. Now whether that has anything to do with Yao being out (probably), but even then our perimeter defense was not good.

I would rather score 90 and win 50+ games than score 100+ and only win 42 games. Remember people, defense wins championships.

Overall good season, very exciting, and I thought that we made the most of what we had. VERY excited to see how Martin/Ariza fit in with Yao.

Here's to hoping for a HEALTHY season next year! :)
