Which western conference team do you as a Rockets fan support in the playoffs?

I support the Thunder because of Durant.

 

1) Thunder - young, explosive squad with one of the game's rising stars in the Durantula. Russ Westbrook's explosive around the cup, and plays lock-down D.

2) Nuggets - J.R. Smith is my favorite non-Rocket in the league. He can explode for 25+ on any given night, he can jump out of the gym, and he's a great three-point shooter. Also, K-Mart and Birdman are monsters around the rim.

 

The most likable team is obviously the Thunder, followed closely by the Trailblazers.

Spurs, Mavericks, Jazz, and Lakers are our most hated rivals...

Nuggets do have a couple of boneheads holding me back from liking them.
Suns have Steve Nash, who I hate.

Wow I hate a lot of those teams on there. I'm betting most will say the Thunder because they haven't beat up on others for long. But 2 years from now they will be hated.

I voted the Lakers.

Why the F not?

Do any of you really want to see the Mavs or Jazz win their first championship? or even get close to one? Ask yourself that question three times if need be. Because Rocket fans will hear about it all next year.

The Spurs no...just no.

I want Amar'e to be availiable to us as a backup plan so he can't go to the finals or else most likely the Suns will keep their group together.

Blazers and Nuggets I can root for though. But the safe bet is the Lakers.

 

Well I was joking I actually voted for Portland but I don't see them winning it.

Blazers 100% and the underdog in any other series except the Jazz.

 

Well a lot of my post came in the Game Threads when I first got here.

But then I realized how pointless it was to post in there when you can go in the chat.

 

Isn't it amazing how we hate teams that have been good for a while , but we dont mind if a team that is young has a chance .

LOL...no real Rockets fan could support Jazz, Fakers or Mavdicks in any fashion.

 

I don't really feel like the Rockets have a rivalry with the Lakers. Despite a small one when they meet, because every other team in the west likes to think they have a rivalry with the Lakers.

Laker fans would tell you their rivals would be the Celtics, Suns, Spurs as of right now. Kings will move right back up that list as they get better though.

I don't really hate the Lakers, they are just another team to me.

if OKC makes it to the finals. i wonder how many ppl will drive to oklahoma for games. not that far from austin.
