If Yao Doesn't Come Back Fully Healthy

    Lets say he becomes a 20 min/game player next season with slightly worse production then last season. What kind of contract would you offer him going into the following season? How many a year over how long of a period? I can probably see the Rockets giving him a bit of money for a short term contract (1-2 years) and then re-evaluate his situation there.

    no its not.

    if he's still productive for 20 minutes, you could surely use him off the bench. why cut ties with him?

    if you want to show him the door, this summer is the time to do it. before his value drops you might be able to get a superstar in a S&T.

    This is why they should not trade our pick in the draft. That pick should be used to get a back-up 7 ft. center. Luckily for them, there are some good choices.

    If he is only a 20mpg backup player, you pay him accordingly.
