I have a question for anyone who can answer this with facts. In a sign and trade with an unrestricted free agent, (namely Bosh), What exactly are the rights the player has as far as rejecting the offers that are proposed. Or in otherwords, does the player have to agree to go to certain teams that propose the trade or do they not have any say so in the deal?
The free agent has to sign a contract FIRST. If he doesn't want to go to the team in question, then he doesn't have to sign.

This. The earliest a player can be traded after being signed (not signed&traded) is 3 months or next December 15th, whichever comes first. It would be a dick move and I don't know if there has ever been an deal like that, when a team signs a free agent with the sole purpose of trading him in three months.
