Lets pretend the basketball gods looked out for us and gave us a top 3 pick in the draft, what would you do with it? Would you draft Wall or Turner or would you try to package it in a sign in trade for one of the big time free agents? I guess packaging it for Lebron or Wade would be a no brainer, but would you trade the 3 pick for Bosh?

Everything happens for a reason, so maybe we win the lottery.

I rather trade for someone who we already know what he brings to the table then to draft someone who has never played in the NBA and don't know how long it would take him to develop. The Rockets need to win now.

you hold it hostage for an allstar and another pick.

say ricky rubio and Al Jefferson.

Wall first...then trade Brooks in a deal for Bosh.
    Cousins second...then make no trades
Wesley third...then trade Ariza/Battier/ or Chase for someone.

I actually think if the Rockets won the lotto they would take DeMarcus rather than John.

In advanced stats DeMarcus kicks arse!

Why would we need to trade a top 3 pick for a FA? I know it's a sign and trade, but the FA is the one making choices, not the original team. If the original team doesn't like a package of say Martin/Scola then they'll have to settle for nothing.

If we get #1, then it's obviously Wall, #2 we'd go with Turner, #3 is a little more dicey, we can consider moving down or up.

If we got the first pick I would trade it for a an asset + the #2 and draft Evan Turner.

If we play the pretend game, can we pretend something bigger? Like if LeBron, Wade, Bosh all want to sign with us next season, whom do we pick.

OP needs to work on his pretend fantasy.

For some reason, DeMarcus reminds me of a more talented Erick Dampier. Which, I guess, is not necessarily a bad thing.

If Daryl Morey found the fountain of youth, who would you bring back? Hakeem? Jordan? Magic?

Maybe all three...to Vet Minimums so we can still sign LeBron and Bosh.

I wanna Deke and his finger wag. I also want dream and his shake back. I am freaking sweating my ball by just thinking Deke and Dream playing together in their prime. It would be Swat+Block. Can we pretend that?
