If I add a second rounder...I'd want more than Granger and Hansbrough I'd want either Brandon Rush or rights to patrick patterson
It seems you are overvaluing your 2nd round pick (no way that is equal to Rush or Patterson). On the other hand you are trading away 3 possible starters...
I know dude. Udoh was my guy if he slipped to 19. (the Spurs) The Kyle Singler pick is laughable. Hes not even as good as Chase Budinger and he (Chase) lasted until mid 2nd round. I would personally send a noose in the mail to Daryl Morey if he made that pick... Sprinkled in Anthrax lol
I'm basing it on the starters, not the pick. Brewer is considered to be a MIP candidate. Ryan Gomes is a undervalued contributor...and Ramon Sessions is a good backup to say the least. PLUS Evan Turner Replace Evan Turner with Henry or Rubio and you have a deal the way it is, but Evan Turner could turn out to be just as good as Granger. Deals I will accept: Granger Hansbrough for Sessions Brewer Gomes Rights to Xavier Henry Second Round Pick OR Granger Hansbrough Brandon Rush For Sessions Brewer Gomes Rights to Ricky Rubio Second Round Pick
That makes sense. Personally, I wouldn't have hesitated on the deal. Granger is good but hasn't been able to carry the Pacers to respectability. Might as well get value(great value in my opinion) for him.
If that guy trades Granger for unproven players he should slap himself in the face. Anyways what time til VBG has before his time is up so I know when to make my pick.
Granger is getting old, and we aren't winning yet. I am far from stupid. We need change and we need it now. Roy Hibbert is developing well, as well as Brandon Rush. I feel Granger dominates the ball too much. Our weak positions are PG really. I bolstered the PF position with Patrick Patterson and to bolster our weak pgs (Diener, unreliable, injury prone Ford) with Corey Brewer a SG who can play PG pretty well. Jeff Foster/Troy Murphy aren't getting any younger either. I'm going with youth movement potential. I think our future is bright.
I'll give you Granger and Hansbrough and TJ Ford for Sessions, Brewer Gomes, and Evan Turner + second round pick.
