OK this deal is preposterous. It is completely outrageous for the Commish to accept this deal, let alone approve it. Nobody in the history of the NBA has moved from the 16th to the 6th pick for only the price of one late first rounder. To move that high in the draft would require a hell of a lot more. Just think of the Deron Williams trade. That cost 3 first rounders just to move from 6 to 3. Teams pay up to get a hold of top 5 talent.

Besides, the Warriors absolutely need a shooting guard... I call shenanagins.

I know it's a moot point now, but why did you take Ed Davis over Aldrich? I would think the W's would want a traditional center to help their disappointment in Biedrins..

Oh, well, I'm in control of the Clippers not the W's. From everything I have read, Ed Davis has one of the highest ceilings in the draft. Aldrich will be a solid player, and more like a "sure bet" of a center.

At the time, I couldn't find any suitable trades, so I had to take the best prospect available, and I chose the one with the highest ceiling over the "solid".

Disappointment? Biedrins has been a stud... Besides Aldrich has disappointment written all over him, and Davis is a steal at that point.

I checked up on the Warriors players ealier today...Randolph and Biedrins have only played about 35 games each, and Wright didn't play this year. Is that entire team injured??

This deal needs to be voided. Investigations need to be made. Lawsuits need to be filed. Drug tests need to be administered.

Nelly has been complaining about Biedrins since day 1 of the season. He has been a major disappointment to at least Nellie, independent of your thoughts on him. His FT% shooting is atrocious and probably most of the reason Nellie got fed up with him -- Biedrins got to a point to where he was scared to get fouled because he didn't want to shoot FTs.

I really like Aldrich; I don't understand people thinking he'll bust. I'm a Tar Heel.. I love them.. but I don't want Ed Davis. He's long, decently athletic (not really fluid), but he has no offensive game other than put backs or layups around the rim. He just doesn't have 'it' -- no desire to dominate a team/player even if he could.

Wright was out for the year -- Nelson was actually higher on Wright than Randolph before the season. Biedrins/Randolph had their share of injury problems this year.. seems to be becoming a theme with Biedrins.

    ItsThat1Guy - Fair points..

Tarheel...yeah there's your first problem right there, lol. I'll refrain from taunting though :).

You're right that Biedrins has had a down year. His PER is around 13, down from 19 th past two years, but I was just saying over his career Biedrins has been a stud.

Aldrich doesn't exactly have offensive game either...

I didn't come hear to talk about Dook. Ugh. But have fun mock drafting for Harrison Barnes next year. :)

Aldrich to me is just the better player. He's going to be a good defensive center, has the meat on him to make an impact quicker than Davis (needs to get stronger), and I think generally has a bigger presence than Davis does. I hope I'm wrong, obviously, but Ed really pissed me off this year.. no desire to dominate a game or even take his man 1on1, leaving it to our crappy guards to chuck from the outside.

Yes...It would remove credibility. I'll retract the trade.

No interest after what he did to Flip this year. We're trying to win now!

The Miami Heat select Ekpe Udoh, PF out of Baylor.

I struggled on whether to go with the best player (Udoh) or perhaps the better fit after this summer's Free Agency (James Anderson). I decided to get Udoh, as he should pair nicely next to Brook Lopez both offensively and defensively.

The Bulls have needs for all positions. PF is probably the most pressing need, especially if we strike out in free agency. We are going to go with who we think is the best player available. We think that is:
