Yao will make it no matter what lol he's got china on his side. Tmac also had china on his side this year
Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Deron Williams. Even if one of these three were to go down with injury... I doubt Brooks would garner enough attention to get on the all-star team... Or at least, it would be very difficult...
I understand guys are Rockets fans here but come on lets be real. The answer is only 1 and thats Yao. The west is too deep. AB is not going to beat out Kobe, D. Williams, CP3, Ginobli especially in fans voting. Lets be real.
Well... we all agree to that... It's just the fact that he might earn a reserve role (which is picked by NBA coaches...)
Yeah i agree he might earn a reserve role with the coaches picking but we all know that every year someone gets snubbed. I mean me personally i could care less. All star game is good and all but its also getting old and played out I rather have our players rest for the stretch of the season and getting ready for the playoffs.
You're suggesting that Yao wouldn't be an all-star if not for Chinese votes. Also, by using the word "again" you are implying that the only reason Yao belonged in the all-star games of the past was because of Chinese votes. Seriously??
Honestly, if Yao was on the ballot this year, he probably would have gotten in, even if he WAS injured, lmao. Anyways, onto next year? Yao, maybe Brooks, and maybe Martin.
Brooks, Yao, and Martin has a chance to sneak in to the reserve. I'm also hopeful that Scola would make his all-star debut next year, so I say 4.
Yao........that's it. And yes, China plays a part in that. But kind of stupid to act like it's the only reason the guy would get in.
2. Yao and Adelman. Maybe one of Brooks/Martin/Scola/mystery acquisition if we are indeed #1 in the conference
If Tracy, who played barely this season, got support from the chinese fans. I don't think Brooks getting being an allstar is a long shot. I'm crossing my fingers. Time to put Rockets on the map!
