Seems like K-Mart is really pissed off about the whole April Fools thingy and taking it out on JR Smith. Man, I would pay to see K-Mart kick JR Swish's ass!

Also, JR is probably one of the most electrifying scorers in the league, but has a peanut sized brain!

I don't know about that, I'd be perfectly fine for who ever plays good and quality basketball as a fan.
I'm happy as long as team is winning, when they start losing I'm worried, simple as that.
Who plays currently really doesn't matter THAT much. Players come and go.

This is what happens when you fake it so much, you cry wolf often enough even your teamates go..."yeah, whatever"

    Not surprised.

The "yeah, whatever" was not aimed at Carmelo it was aimed at J.R.

Before the "yeah, whatever" he gave props to Carmelo

At least by the time he got back on offense J.R. Smith should have realized something was up. I'd be holding the ball pointing at Melo and yelling at the refs to stop play.

I hate the Thuggets and dislike Melo as much as anyone but that's just ridiculous, you don't go in for a layup and risk stepping or falling on an injured player.

The refs are the real dumbasses for not checking on that dead ball, however.

Man I bet $100 that's exactly what went through his head, and he probably thought "if I get up now, they're gonna know I was just trying to put on a show,so I have to go along w/it now"...I agree w/ you man!!!and yea,the whole nuggets team could've just called a timeout...

i love how most of yall just assumed with your "gut feeling" that he's pretending this. that or not. if you see a guy down like that not moving, play should be stopped, either by the ref, or his own teammate. you never know these kinds of things. maybe when his head ran into durant's stomach, the muscle pulled or something idk.

    You know what?

I know the Nuggets team should have called time out, but I think EVERYONE in the arena was expecting the officials to stop play. That was why Dantley, the head coach was "livid" according to the announcer.

The officials should have stopped play. THEN the Nuggets team.

This week has just been referee-fail.

That's a TERRIBLE no call by the REFS!!!! Just terrible....

They clearly should have called 3 seconds on Carmelo on the Nuggets 2nd possession.

What is the official rule for stoppage by refs in case of injury?

The worst part of it was that after JR missed the layup, he pointed at Melo is dismay as if he was the reason he missed. The world does not revolve around you JR

omg this was the funniest thing i have seen all day, especially when jr smith runs in for the layup past knocked out melo. once they went back on offense, you would think melo would have reacted if he was faking it and he didn't flinch when jr smith almost stepped on him so you know it was legit.
