It's amazing you responded to a post that contained "Radiohead" without mentioning how they didn't play Creep when you went to their concert
Sorry B-Bob, I was a math major. Me fail English?? That's unpossible! Seriously, I had been thinking about doing a thread on this for awhile but I knew that Joy Division would wipe the other 2 out. I guess I should have not done a poll. I just think it is very interesting that these 3 bands had such a short discography (2 studio albums for each one) but they had such a great impact on the bands and music that followed them.
It was more psychologically damaging for moes because at least the jocks seemed to enjoy shoving him into lockers. The emo kids would hit him with apathetic, partially closed fists and look like they were watching a kitty being drowned. Then as they walked away from fetal moes, blood from his nose pooling on the floor, they would talk about how beating up losers was so depressing. Poor moes could only add salt water tears to his blood pools because he knew they would be back the next day. Only then they would have fresh cuts that might open up while they were attacking him...and nobody likes to clean emo blood out of their hair.
there is a sun kil moon song called 'glenn tipton', which your posts reminds me of... Cassius Clay was hated more than Sonny Liston Some like KK Downing more than Glenn Tipton Some like Jim Nabors, some Bobby Vinton I like 'em all as for the poll, how about this? joy division - most influential mbv - best album stone roses - best band
