Yeah we had dinner, not buffet... it wasn't bad by any means.

I had the Mango Duck Breast and finals had Navrattan Curry.

Rockets03, kindly note that I share your opinion on Indian buffets. Men and women should avoid those establishments altogether. They remind me of weddings, and I loathe weddings.

My unc got one shipped from the mother land for $750. That thing simply makes the best kabobs and naan you can imagine.

Obviously there's a difference between North Indian and South Indian food, but it there any difference between Pakistani food and Indian food north of Mumbai? I say it's all the same...

I've been keeping my eyes open for Asian p*rn stars too......but so far, I haven't seen any. Maybe I need to go read a book on some public transportation.

I've heard good things about it but haven't tried it. It's a Pakistani restaurant.

Himalaya is probably my favorite Indian restaurant. Their lunch platter goes down hard.

Food from Hyderabad is pretty much the best Indian food imo yet there isn't a good restaurant in Houston that serves this type. Osmania tries but it's pretty bad.

FTW! Try their Daal Fry or Khadi Gosh or Khadi Chicken.

You do realize that Hyderabadi dum biryani is much better than any Pakistani biryani?

It comes in mutton (lamb), kheema (minced meat), chicken, and vegatable. It ain't right if it doesn't go into the oven.

    Indika is very good.

It is on the fancy side and incorporates elements and ingredients not typically found in Indian food, so it is not your typical Indian restaurant.

That said, it is a Houston gem and you should definitely try it.

love love LOVE london sizzlers.... like whoa. brother-in-law's best friend owns it so we always gorge ourselves but i crave it regularly. i will say that i had the chicken tikki masala (tame, i know) at red lion last night and it was fan-*****ing-tastic... especially since they serve it until 1am thursday, friday, and saturday night.

That thing is really good over there. Didn't expect Indian food so good from an English pub in Houston.

I think it has to do with a lot of Indian / Pakistan people living with in England.
