When Artest and Ariza hit clutch 3s against their respective past teams (even though we lost in OT) Beating JAZZHOLES Scola becoming more of a beast AB winning MIP (he will)
The Rockets played many good games this season. Recalling a few: Lakers at Rockets: Artest hits a clutch three late in the game, but then Ariza, against his old team, ties the game on the next possession. We lost in OT, but then we beat them soundly a few games later in LA thanks to Ariza's shot-down defense on Kobe. Rockets at Mavericks: Lowry and Brooks outplay the Mavs guards and together score 51 points. Landry loses his teeth to Dirk, but comes back 2 games later and scores 27 points. Rockets at New York: Following the Tmac trade, New York looks stupid for giving up on Jordan, as Rockets win thanks to Jordan Hill and Jared Jeffries' clutch defense. Rockets at Grizzlies: Joey Dorsey returns to Memphis, plays his first significant minutes of the season, and dominates the paint with rebounds, blocks, and dunks, leading to a blowout win. Rockets vs. Spurs: Brooks, Martin, and Scola all score 30+ points in a win. Rockets vs. Nets: Scola scores 44 points on 20-25 shooting in a win. Then there's been other comeback victories, balanced wins in which 6+ Rockets score in double figues, other wins against great teams like Boston, Denver, Utah, and Cleveland. And every player on the team has had their shining moments of the season.

The "Rockets get martin" thread. ( martin was not capitalized) I thought it was BS, but I had left the bbs for an hour or so to go watch an episode of Big Love. Then I came back, and not only do we get our all-star 2 guard. But a young pf and picks. Budingers play..... Brooks raising his game to another level. It has been a great year, playoffs or not.
