Welp, since we didnt make the playoffs and the seasons just abour over, favorite moments from this season? Some of mine, in no particular order: • Beating the Celts in OT, that was GLORIOUS and payback • The birth of Clutch AB • Air Buds alley oops (is he the sickest white boy ever when it comes to dunks?) • Beating the Jazz ass last night • Beating the Jazz ass last night • Beating the Jazz ass last night • Beating the Jazz ass last night
You forgot: Routing the Jazz (at Utah!) right from the beginning. Beating Denver after being down big.
Team wise - 1) Beating the Lakers in LA 2) Beating Utah in Utah 3) Beating Denver at Toyota 4) Beating Boston in Boston Player wise - 1) Brooks becoming a top 15 PG 2) Scola becoming the "Ice-Cream Man" 3) Kev joining the quest for the title. 4) The wildcat offense - Bud/Hill
Knowing that the McGrady dynasty is over. Chase Budinger's tip dunk vs Boston At the very beginning of the season, watching the heart and hustle of these guys (which we seem to have gotten a lot of that back). Carl Landry playing like a man down the stretch. Scola's 44 point game off amazing efficiency Seeing the potential of Jordan Hill Ariza's dunk vs the j*zz
Signing Kevin Martin was the best moment of the year for me..then in no particular order: AB hitting clutch tough shots with regularity at the end of the season Luis going 20-25 in a game Watching Chase Budinger play in general Watching Jordan Hill play in general Trevor Ariza slam on Okur Trading SheMac Jazz domination last night
-The Denver game since I was there. -Scola's not being able to miss against the Nets. -The Celtic game since it made up for not making the playoffs and Luis response when they ask him if he was tired after playing 51 minutes. "I'm ok." That's a man's man. -Beating the Lakers in the beginning of the season. -Embarrassing the Jazz on national TV. -Acquiring Kevin, Hill, and Jared for T-Mac. Next year is going to be awesome.
Kicking Dallas in the nuts on New Year's Eve was my favorite game that I attended this season. Dallas sucks. Beating the Lakers in LA was awesome. Scola's career-high 44 pts. was another highlight.
1)Scola showing us why he's so valuable 2)Martin dominating 3)Brooks dominating 4)Brooks breaking all the 3-point records 5)The entire first couple of months of the season 6)Saying goobye to Tmac and hello to hill, martin, and lots of draft picks
Watching my Rox beat the Mavs up here in Dallas before X-mas!! Spoiler and getting a chance to meet my man Scola at that game.. and a little drunken gloating in front of the AAD
The acquisitions of Kevin Martin and Jordan Hill, the development of AB0 and Scola, and the emergence of C-Bud.
Gotta go with the Denver win a few weeks ago since I was in attendance. On top of the others mentioned here, there was a win in San Antonio in January right before we really fell apart that was beautiful to watch. After that game I was thinking we were poised for a good run.
My favorite moment was when we traded for a YOUNG Big guy with POTENTIAL ... Jordan Hill <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/twV7gaWsYSQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/twV7gaWsYSQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
The game in San Antonio where Kyle Lowry totally dominated the spurs, I was as the game and had some of the best seats ive ever had for a rockets game and i even got some spurs fans to move because me and my roomate where screaming obscenities as the spurs players, not really obscenities more like silly nicknames that made no sense but seemed funny at the time. Tony Parker tp aka toilet paper man that night was a blast hahaha
Yeah I was at that game too...it was sick with all the rowdies chanting after the game as well. BUT my favorite rockets moment this year was the Denver game b/c I was in attendance obviously. We fought back after being down big. Great experience. Looking forward to next season.
