The Seattle Times had reported on Friday that Rashard Lewis leaving via trade was unlikely but after reading the article it did state that a trade with the Rockets is the most probable if any trade would be made at all: "Raiding the Rockets roster is more feasible because forward Maurice Taylor is scheduled to make $7.2 million next season and Kelvin Cato is due $6.7 million. Packaging one of them with another Houston player could make a deal with the Sonics possible." The link to the full article is: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/sonics/134509894_soni09.html Just an update.. for those starving, like myself, for at least something to talk about!
Sounds good to me take either one. For some reason id rather keep cato over taylor and its scaring me because I dont know why.
Sounds about 70/30 right now 70% chance that Seattle will cough it up 30% chance that the Mavs or Rockets get him.. I do think we would offer more in a trade scenario because Cuban already feels his team has all the pieces!
I have a feeling something will happen soon. I hate to say it but he needs to stay with the Sonics and take the guaranteed money. A one year contract is a to risky--- especially if you blow out and ACL or something. __________________________________________ milo
I'd trade Mo T for Rashard, but I don't know about Cato. I know we all hate him, but he is a valuable part of this team. He will be the starting center for the first part of the season, and will be a big body off the bench for 20 minutes a game after that. I'd love to trade Cato, but if we do, we have to get a center in return.
