U. Blue, If you trade KT for Croshere, you would pretty much be forced to play Croshere at PF. Who else do we have or could we draft that actually has the skills to start That being said, I'd do that trade (KT + Drew, not Williams) in a heartbeat; unfortunately, I doubt Indiana would ------------------
More reasons behind making KT available. 1. We're stuck with Cato, unless we want to SEVERELY downgrade. 2. That means, he's gonna be in our low post along with a PF. We need a PF who can score, and score well, or at least play good D with above average scoring. 3. KT is not the answer to #2, as he is a DEFENSIVE LIABILITY (something the Rockets have too many of) and not gonna become a 20 point scorer any time in the NBA (now, in Europe or the CBA....) 4. KT is young, and has potential. 5. He has a small contract. Cheap teams (ahem, cough, Clippers) like that, especially when they have some skills. ------------------ The more lefties on your team, the better.
I really do like KT. I think he can be a solid PF, but I don't think he has the ability to be great. Problem is in the West there are a lot of good PFs we still need to match up with (Duncan, Webber, Karl, etc). If KT can become a Rodman type (rebound, get junk points and mostly play D) w/out the attitude then I think we are OF, but we do need someone who can score from the post, which I am unsure about with KT. ------------------
I am glad this thread was created. I have always felt that KT had much more potential than he was given credit for. I think he could easily be as good as Othella was for the Grizz last year. He is a hustle player, he reminds me of Bo Outlaw with his tenacity for rebounding. However, DaDakota, I don't think he is the best passer on the Rockets. I really think the best passer on the Rockets is Moochie Norris. ------------------ "Nothing is certain but the unforseen." Some Dude
