DirecTV vs Comcast

    I currently have DirecTV and ATT phone and Internet, and want to switch. Comcast has the triple play package internet, basic digital cable, and phone service for 99 a month for the first year. Anyone have experiences with comcast? Are they reliable?

    Yeah, CommieCast sucks. I always had unreliable service and they have horrible customer service. My internet would always go down when I needed it the most. I switched over to ATT Uverse and haven't had any problems.

    Comcast was a million times better than Ygnition (dish network).

    Strictly speaking on just Broadband... Comcast is the best out there in terms of speed. Nothing even comes close except maybe Uverse.

    Why would anybody want Comcast for tv? It sux more ass then anything.

    Directv is a million times better then Comcast when it comes to TV but Comcast does have great Broadband. Just watch out for the Directv contracts, they will lock you in for 2 years and are VERY expensive to get out of.

    DirecTv is much more expensive than Comcast. You do get the most HD channels but you pay for it.

    Comcast is not reliable. Broadband for me is unusable during peak hours (8-10 pm). Cable can go out for hours at a time for no apparent reason. Longest cable was over a day :(
