not signing your top picks to save $3M was going to be an extremely short-sighted move. They weren't going to NOT sign them. They put a freeze on the process to get a better feel for the labor situation. Nothing bad comes out of delaying the signings except maybe annoying the picks a bit.
a) They lose development time. b) Once they set foot on a Div-I campus this fall, we lose their rights Grigsby was a CC guy so b) didn't apply, but it will for the HS guys (and any college Jr's, I don't have a draft list in front of me right now).
