Absolutely not. Bosh is the better player, but their salaries are going to be worlds apart... if I'm Morey, I'm not giving up one of my top three players in order to get locked into a max contract just before the new CBA. Especially when I already have two very good power forwards and a draft coming up rich in even more PF types. Morey is a good money managing type of GM, and that's just not good money management. I would take on Bosh if we could do it without severely damaging his supporting cast. That's the only way I'd do it.
Congrats to Brooks. I love Rafer, but he should not be holding any shooting records. I'm surprised Luther's #3.
Probably just pointing out how all three of them draw fouls at a prolific rate. I certainly wouldn't mind Lowry/Martin/Yao in our starting lineup though.
Last nights win was good as it means we have swept the Grizzlies this year. Aaron Brooks has had an excellent season and I do not think we should swap him with Bosh.
I saw Kmart's 29pts on 16 shots and 12/12 FT and thought the same thing. We're going to put a lot of people in foul trouble next year, which will make opposing teams go to their bench and just make it that much easier for us to score on weaker bench defenders. Hill's 9 boards (4 offensive) in 16 minutes is really, really encouraging too!
I was going to make another thread but I guess I can just put it here. At first I was mad that the Rockets was winning all these meaningless games while the Grizz are obviously tanking but after watching this game, the Grizz needs a shooter and with Gay possibly getting a richer contract I think they will go for a wing guy, which is good for us since we need a big. But I think the team that might mess it up for us is the Hornets. They might take one of the bigs that might slip out of the top 10 slot.
