    yep, checked a little translator, and my guess was right. He did seem to have some solid comments for a newcomer.

    Now, how does this all come into play draft-wise? Well, there's only 1 frenchmen in the NBA, Tariq Abdul-Wahad. But, Jerome Moiso came from France as well. It IS a sign. If he had used spanish (which would have been to recognizable), it would have shown Najera. Moiso is perfect. Not only is he left handed, but he's French.

    As long as there are moves.....this team is in a stage where it can be molded and transformed. The moves will decide that. If we screw up and the mold dries, we could be bound to Clipper like Lottery Annual Festivities.

    don't u think it's just fine if we pick up dermarr this year and wait till next year (cap space) to land the final piece of our team (PF) via free agency?

    i mean, los and KT will hold up fine for one final rebuilding season.......

    Here are a few PFs we can pick up not this season, the next:

    --Chris Webber
    --Bo outlaw (if he doesn't leave this year)
    --Tim Duncan (i expect him to sign back with spurs for one season, after which he'll realize that he can win a championship with houston)
    --Draft.....i think detroit's pick will be a high one if we get it next season.....
    --Brian Grant (considering he doesn't opt out of his contract)
    --Kenny Thomas won't be too bad in 2 seasons either.....

    So i think the smart thing to do is pick up dermarr if he's available......if not, we pick up a decent PF, and sign a FA SF in two seasons with the cap room we'll have......

    the whole point is to position ourselves so the rebuilding process won't take much longer.....

    I think I can understand why Houston is a preference for free agents. I was listening to radio interview the other day (I seem to do that a lot [IMG]) and they were talking about recent NBA coaching appointments - namely Hamilton at Washington and Wilkens in Toronto. The point being made was that these guys, while good coaches, do not possess a certain "it" that some NBA coaches have, which generates trust, respect and motivation amongst the players. Coaches that have "it", and I quote;
    "Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Rudy Tomjanovich"

    Rudy has got to be one of the main reasons people want to play here. Let us be thankful for that.

    One more thing...

    I was in Washington State a few weeks back, taking in Highway 101, driving south all the way to Napa, enjoying the coast and the wine.... sorry, I digress. Anyway, while in Seattle I spoke to friend of mine who, conscious of my passion for the Rockets, told me that he has "strong reasons to believe that Rashard Lewis will sign a one year deal with the Sonics", followed presumably with a bird contract the year after.

    Sure, this may be plainly obvious to all and sunder, but given the title of this thread, I though it only fair to mention it. The plot thickened when I got home, and the following week's SI had an article that was strikingly similar.
