This thread must be an April Fool's joke.

Morey cares so much about the team it's ri-dic-yool-ass.

DM is a GM. He is not a head coach. He is not an assistant coach. He is not an announcer of the games. He does not write articles on the games for The Chronicle, nor of any other newspaper.

His job is basically Personnel. Scouting is an important part of his job. He has to know how the Rockets are doing, so that he knows where they need to improve, but he does have a coaching staff that can tell him such things, if he doesn't already know.

And, if the coaching staff can't help him, he can always read clutchfans.net. They have internet access in all European countries.

I really hope Morey is serious about taking Vesely. I love his combination of ball handling and above the rim play. The guy loves to run & hustle too, perfect for the new look Rockets. And he can play either the 3 or 4 spot.

Can't have enough guys w/a bit of psycho in them, even if he is a Euro. :D

and/or Aleks Maric. Maric went undrafted in 2008. He's blown out and putting up crazy numbers in Europe.

Dear god no, talk about a bust waiting to happen.

25 and zero athleticism with a negative assist to t/o ratio just screams to run away...

lol even i don't give a damn about this year's team.

we are NOT making the playoffs and even if we did, we will NOT will anything.

he did his job for this years team, develop young players and obtain talent for next seaon.

why invest time and money into something that has no chance of gaining rewards and not spend ur time dong something beneficial for the future.

If DM can come back with another scola type player, I would fall in love with DM (I AM NOT GAY BUT THE GUY IS JUST THAT GOOD).

Anyone who has read moneyball knows that Billy Beane rarely, if ever, watches the A's games. Plus, I think DM knows already what needs to be done and he's starting work early.

I see the Rockets drafting either Vesley, or Donatas Motierjunas (7-0 PF from Lithuania).

If I was the Rockets GM, considering drafting a couple of Euros... I might want to see them play. Maybe.

I think you're all wrong. Like any manager, he's got a yearly budget, and if he doesn't use it, he's going to lose it next year.

Jan Vessly at wost will be Tyson Chandler. His ceiling is LaMarcus Aldridge with a higher motor.
