    Exactly.

Lucky for Xiao Pang, Taiwan is a free country where those opportunities are realized every day.

He alone proves why Taiwan's de facto independence is legit.

Are we sure he is not the son of Whitney and Brown?

I can't believe how natural sounding his voice is at that high. Would be the next Susan Boyle if he goes viral.

I don't know what a big deal is that he doesn't speak English is. I know people who sing opera but don't know Italian or German.

As long as you can handle the pitch and intonation I don't think understanding the lyrics is that critical to singing.

Taiwan's de facto independence has been legit ever since the Chinese civil war ended in 1951.

What is interesting is the civil war arose because one side of the nation wanted the country to be run using capitalism while the other side wanted to use communism. Obviously, both sides were supported by already established capitalist and communist nations (Western nations vs. Soviet Union). The communists won out in the end because the mass majority of Chinese were poor peasants and the ideal of communism appealed to them more. The capitalists escaped to the little island off the coast of China now known as Taiwan.

Little did they know communism would cause them to remain poor for another 50 years or so. Only since the 2000s has China really embraced capitalism and fluorished.

Yeah. I felt like he wasn't singing the lyrics but just mimicking the way they sound.

not sure how old he is but he's in college so im guessing 18 or 19. In a interview (actually sounds pretty normal) he explains why he can hit those high notes and it's because he says he doesnt have a adams apple or at least a very small one

This ... If the debate bots, i.e. the MFWs, sees it, you will have a field day hearing what they have to say.

Just to clarify, the '49 Nationalists weren't running democracy in China or Taiwan. Any Chinese or Taiwanese from era can voucher that the Nationalists and Communists were practically the same then, except the form of economy, but Communists did run the country significantly better than what the Nationalists did up to '59 when Mao went berserk.

    Oh well, I digress.

Wow...that was awesome. It actually sounded very similar to Whitney Houston.
I feel bad that he's fat though, only because so many people in the world will find anything to make fun of you about. Weight being one of the most popular ones. And sadly...it's kind of acceptable to laugh at in society.

That's why I said capitalism vs communism, not democracy vs communism. You just repeated what I said. Thanks for the additional details though.
