Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni doesn't feel Tracy McGrady has a future with the team past this season. McGrady has averaged 8.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 21 games with New York. A team source said D'Antoni feels that McGrady has too far to go in his comeback to be counted on next season as an important piece of a rotation the coach expects to be massively improved.
There really is no reason to "celebrate" McGrady's fall. I'll pan his antics and mouth...but cheering on the end of his career isn't necessary. IMO.
A lot of fans still have a lot of hate for T-Mac. His injuries, work ethic and mouth just rubbed people the wrong way (including myself). As far as I'm concerned, he is just another ex-Rocket like Bonzi Wells and Rafer Alston. No need to keep bringing him up.
This couldn't have gone in one of the countless other T-Mac threads? Perhaps the one about how T-Mac expects to return to all-star form next year would have been appropriate. Or the "Official T-Mac as a Knick" thread.
LOL, good point. He exclusively hates playing rookies. The only player he doesn't hate I guess is the man on his team named Gallinari?
