The last time this season the Rockets fell below .500 in win-loss record was when they loss to the Blazers on the opening night. Ever since they have not fallen below that and each time they are on the verge of falling they always manage to win and some against strong opponents. They have 7 more games left. 4 away and 3 at home.

Away: Pacers, Grizzlies, Suns and Kings
    Home: Jazz, Bobcats and Hornets

The Rockets beat the Blazers on opening night. I remember because I spent Halloween going to the game. They kept playing the Michael Myers theme song during the timeouts.

LOL I hope not.. Rick Adelman is doing everything in his power get the players to play out the season.. He is coaching like he is going to the playoffs.. Don't think he wants his career record to suffer.

What I meant for the "opening night" is the first game of the regular season when they played against the Blazers in Portland and lost 87-96. I know they played again on game 3 of the regular season in Houston which the Rockets eventually won.

No, no. That was the HOME opener that the Rockets beat the Blazers. The season opener was away, and they lost...

I think we can stay afloat. And I do think finishing above .500 is preferable to tanking up one spot in the draft order. Have to continue to reaffirm the winning mentality.
