There is something very special about being there in someone else's arena screaming your *ss off when your team lays a whuppin' on their team. It is amazing, especially when you are there in great numbers.

I remember my first year as a season ticket holder the Rockets flew a bunch of us out to Miami for a game against the then NBA champion Heat and we beat them silly. Rox fans showed up loud, stayed loud and hollered every lesser being out of the freaking arena. You could hear us over the home crowd on TV.

Most fun I ever had at a Rox game, playoffs and streak included.

YUP! definitely agree, I made it to the game in San Antonio back in January. Ohhh man this was a blast me and my roommate were making fun of all the spurs. Their fans were so mad that they got beat by a team with half the pay roll not even playing.

Anyways love the support the op showed i got into with some celtics fans last year at toyata center early in the season. I could use on those drums though sounds like a blast to piss people off at the game, takes some balls as well. thanks for standing up for your right to support the rox!

    haha neat!!

btw, you have the best signature on clutchfans for 2 reasons.
    1. Lowry is my favorite NBA player of all time
    2. the cook quote is hilarious. I used to make Brian "kiss the" Cook jokes all the time.

and regarding somewhat the subject of the thread, me and a few other rowdies drove to san antonio for the game last night. I was so disappointed in the number of rockets fans. We could hear the other rockets fans during the january 22 game in San antonio. Lowry even tweeted that there were a lot of rockets fans.
But not last night, there was no sound of cheering when the rockets scored, nor did we run into as many fans. Probably, because we wont make playoffs, it wasnt worth the drive for some fans.
The spurs fans are really friendly though. No one gave us a hard time but a 12 year old girl who sat by us that I was ready to injure by the end of the night. She kept hushing and being obnoxious by turning her body towards us and cheering for her spurs at us, but because of the score, and not our arena, i couldnt really say anything. it wouldnt look right too bc she was 12. haha

however, when a few spurs fans, booed us our response was always "We Beat the Nets!" hahahhaha. they had nothing to say. I even had a lot of spurs fans tell me they liked my costume. friendly crowd.

Show some class you morons, this is a fellow Rockets fan you're talking to.

Also, there's plenty of places where wearing the wrong jersey will get your ass beat down. Philly and NY spring to mind.

All I knows is if there is a a-hole rooting for the opposing team, imma point him to the nearest exit and force him out!

Aint nobody gonna root against the Good Guys! Rockets fans stand up! Let your voice be heard! Like the city of H-Town, we chop and screw boys who hate on us!

The Rockets play hard every single night! Scola, Brooks, Battier, Yao, and Hayes are the hardest working players in the league, so repay them and defend Red Nation!

Who Dat? Red Nation! I can't hear you! Who dat? Red Nation!

Remember the 1994-1995 championships? We need that energy back!

When the opponent comes to the Center, we want them to be scared like lil school girls!

We need everone to wear Red when they come to the
    Toyota CENTER!

Like OP say, don't be silenced!
