This thread is dedicated to those of you who are kinda bored watching us tank against semi-decent teams with the only highlight being a Chase Budinger Dunk.

For you...and my extra time not spent obsessing about the Rockets, I bring you down memory name. Namely, the forgettable but not forgotten. The not so unforgettable, but just barely memorable.

First up - Forgettable players that are remembered because of their name.

    Which is your favorite name?

Sleepy was a decent player... I don't think he falls into the category of "forgettable players."

In 88-89 he averaged 14 points and 8.6 assists.

    Granny Waiters.

Poor dude needed Rogaine badly before he was even out of college, but it hadn't been invented yet.

And Purvis Short was hardly "forgettable". Quite a few of the guys on your list were top players in the NBA at one time. If you've forgotten World B. Free or Tree Rollins, you weren't watching much basketball in the late 70's/early 80's.

You guys have to excuse me, I'm kind of young. What's the story on World B. Free? Why did he have his name changed to that?

Moochie I remember because of his hair more than his name...I thought Luther Head would have been on here...It would have been really funny if we kept Rudy Gay so we could have had a Gay Head combo. ;)

    Kennard Winchester FTW

Maybe Dave Jamerson. Because he looked, played, sounded, and performed exactly to what you'd expect a Dave Jamerson to do.
